Roman capitals were developed in the first century. The beauty of the perfect proportion of the letters on Trajan’s column is breathtaking. Many fonts that are used today originate from Roman capital.

The lessons cover the skeleton forms based on geometric proportions, pencil monoline writing and spacing practice. This is followed by weighted forms with edged-pen, letter spacing and writing texts in different nib sizes and design layout. Works of framed art are created for the final projects.
